Yeah? Considering we dont have a full 20 people in guild and have to pug atm. Yeah I wasn’t expecting to do so. But every bit helps.
Do you get off to belittling others? Really have to be vindictive for nothing? Im trying to which is the point with the circumstances ive been given. WTF is your god damn issue?!?
Dude I had a best friend die Friday, I really dont need this crap piss off.
Thank you. He had a lot of health issues growing up…had it really rough. The open heart surgery seemed to to be taking, they got him off the bypass but in an hour or so back to the OR. My other bro messenger me the bad news.
Jonathan Shaffer was a friend I had since grade school. Made it further than the doctors said he would. 37 years. He was the joy of the party. Will miss the hell outta that goofball.
That evoker commenting is just trollin bud. dont feed the trolls. The progression curve is super steep and has made a toxic system even more toxic. when folks start commenting…look at the profile for the toon they are commenting from. If that profile shows no M+ dungeons completed, no raid bosses killed and an ilvl irrelevant to the current content, ignore the comment and you can go as far as ignoring the poster completely just like you can ignore crappy people in the game. Click their name, Click “View Activity”. Top right click “Normal” to drop down a menu then click “Ignore”. “Click Select Timeframe” to drop down another menu, scroll down and click “Forever”, then confirm. after that go on conversing with people actually adding something to the conversation that might be constructive.
Yeah definitely done so. Life has enough of those types in game, dont need to deal with them here.
Though I believe someone said its not just steep its a cliff and this season especially, I believe it. Was easier to get into 15s for mythic track than it is today to get into 10s.
You have done all the mythic + content that gives rewards at +10. The fact you even went over that means you are testing the water for title, that is the only thing that lies beyond a 10. You are pushing for honor and glory past a 10, the reward you get is the reward you attach to it.
You are 2350 IO with 3/8 +9 timed and the rest are +8s and a +7. Why would a pug take you over someone with more score? Run your own keys or bring your other 5/8 dungeons up with timed +9s.
I cant count how many times Ive gone into an 8 to watch the tank flop over first pull wipe the group 10+ times and leave. Lol SV is the bane of my life right now lol
Im aware 2.3k is now somehow low. Seen people of the same io doing 10s… Tried doing my Ara 10+. Healer cant keep up on first boss.
Try to get into the others to get to 9s declined all the live long day. Clearly I should be 50000 io and full mythic to get into the blessed 10s oh great one.
Im just freaking frustrated. Its been a slow climb full of more dead keys and Im for the third expansion stuck pugging. Im at a limit of patience.
The question is why are they flopping? It’s not all on the tank. Are fears going off? Are other people in the group dying making the encounter last longer?
If you are talking about the first boss and the tank dies after lasers then that’s on the healer not doing the healer mechanic correctly.
You need to be way more specific than continuously blaming healers and tanks.
I pug by choice. If you are group forming as DPS then you need to learn to vet your group better. If you are seeing failure at exceedingly high rates and others are not then you need to change what you are doing. Will success rates be 100%? Definitely not, but it shouldn’t be as bad as you are describing it.
I can tell you from experience and while ilvl and IO are the not the final say I see people anywhere from 615 to 635ilvl now and IO from 2k to near 3k easy for whatever 10 I post.
Yes and no. The way the system scales now makes this inevitable. But when Blizzard realize our dmg scales 10 times more than our survivability, they will change the scaling accordingly, because making mob HP and dmg increase equally makes no logical sense whatsoever. The whole thing should be about clearing dungeons fast through dps, not through use of defensives to survive random stuff.
Pretty much. they have the formula down pretty well in Diablo. at a certain pit level, the damage incoming to the player is capped. the HP just increases, so it becomes a dps issue to time the run.
it’d be one thing if they designed the dungeons post legion around the idea that they were going to be M+, but it’s like they just throw random stuff out there.
But if damage is capped, that creates another problem: If you can heal or tank x, you can heal or tank Y, because damage doesn’t change. Diablo doesn’t have tanks or healers.
I disagree that it creates a problem. you cap the incoming damage past, say, a 10. essentially, if you can heal a 10, then you can heal a 20. it’s the mob HP that scales and DPS is the limiting factor, and that’s how it should be. keep in mind, i’m not saying you don’t have to heal and i’m not saying there shouldn’t be lethal mechanics, but there has to be a balance. output should always be the limiting factor of timing a key, not ever single thing being a me shot mechanic.
