I seriously can’t fathom on how many people are all of the sudden defending that normal dungeon should stay as is and force those others to find another way to gear. And let those others complain because we finally get what we (hardcore players) asked for gatekeeping other players from having access to better gear and a pathway to mythic 0.

Normals should drop just enough ilvl to enter heroics, and heroics just enough to make it into mythic 0s.

That season had a decent flow to gearing and a fairly smooth difficulty.

Yes exactly, how it’s always been, why did they need to change it? If they want to add other routes of gearing, fine, just include it alongside the other as just an extra option.

No one is defending anything. We’re telling you how to get the gear and why it is the way it is. That’s not defending it. That’s giving you info to try to help with how it changed.

I’m actually getting better gear for my characters doing world quests and delves than I ever would from normal or heroic dungeons. And mythic dungeons are just unbearable hard so I’ll probably stick to delves in groups since solo delves are also way too hard

Because there are other (and some would say better) ways to get gear for heroics. Weeklies awarding veteran gear, renown 7 or 8 or whatever offering veteran gear off QMs, WB dropping 603 gear…
Ringing deeps weekly – go collect 10 globs of wax, which anyone at any item level can do. Boom! veteran gear in the box.
Hallowfall weekly – go light 4 minor keyflames, loot a radiant shard, which anyone at any item level can do. Boom! veteran gear in the box.
Why is getting 564 considered such a feat?

Craft some 590s boom done.
They should really adjust things so getting geared in Normal Dungeons allows you to queue into Heroics without jumping through hoops like upgrading throwaway gear. Though, renown gear should be considered. Everyone doing any progression should be at least 10 renown by now.
They should either lower the requirement for heroics or increase the ilevel drops from normals.

Heroics are a cakewalk. Buy some gear off the AH to get your ilvl up and spam heroics walah you 570 or whatever they updated it to

I just hit 80 on my 3rd alt. He still has 501 gear because I haven’t had good luck with drops and I dont do quests. Why can’t I solo mythic Zal’atath? I should be mailed a full set of ilvl 800 gear and a free box of jelly beans.

Seriously, why do people hate working for their progression instead of expecting to hit 80 and charge right into end game content?

They want to do end game content. Normal Raid is… by definition End game… so is M0… you have to work at them a bit, but nothing too difficult.
Not everyone should be able to easily 9/9 Mythic Raids… or do +10 Keys (old +20)
This is coming from someone who’s very mediocre at the game… I don’t think I’ve ever blue parsed in Heroic Raids. I think T8 Delves are fairly difficult, and current M0 dungeons to be a challenge.
This terrible change on heroics shouldnt have ever happen specially this early in the expansion… whoever thought about it is clearly not playing the game.
Who wants to go through normal or going around killing every single rare for a chance on a piece that you might need? or “spam” delves with a cope truck and pray that you get something without keys (granted if you use it below you’re really slowing yourself massively) and the world quests rewards are RNG and tied to 2-3 days changes because of mistakes they did in the past.
And here I left DF because I thought it had too many currencies but now it’s less items, less options and less choices…
