Penalising people for cancelling subscriptions by not making mount and other rewards available

Well then real life is more important then a fake mount now isn’t it. Spend that money on the baby which will make life much better.

What game, activity, contest, whatever allows you to retroactively obtain anything that was given in the past that you were not a member of aka for WoW paying a monthly fee or token.

You answered your own question…“If I hadn’t cancelled” I was not subbed during some of the Anniversary events…should I in this logic demand that I get all items when no money, tokens etc were exchanged?

I have an active account, its just no longer subscribed, I don’t see why it has to be subscribed to obtain these rewards that’s all I’m saying, loyalty should go both ways, I’ve shelled out for six months at a time, that’s not a small amount of money and it should be rewarded as such.

You want a change use the ingame suggestion feature or gwneral forums posting here gaurentees itwont be seen by rhose that make those decisions

Because that is the contract that you agreed to for those bonuses. The last time it only had to be a block of time I think, was back in BFA when they had the ship mount as the bonus. Since then, every other time it has required a subscription. Period. That you didn’t read the fine print is no one’s fault but your own.

I am sorry you feel duped in all of this, but you’ve got to pay attention to these sorts of things. It may just be a game, but you’re still making agreements and promising to uphold your end of the deal like you would in anything else IRL. The information is right there every time you make a purchase or sign up for a renewing sub.

First, it was explained above: this promotion is about players renewing their subscriptions.

But second and more importantly: it’s irrelevant if you understand the why or not. Is that what you do at the grocery store? “I don’t understand why I have to pay for this milk and baby food! I have a one year old who’s hungry!”? No. There’s a product with a price. Either pay that price or you don’t get that product.

Indeed. And when you cancel your subscription, for any reason and even if you intend to restart it, you are not showing loyalty to the company.

If you shelled out for six months, then you received one of the previous mounts for a six-month subscription. Each six-month payment gets you one mount. That’s it.

It was. You received exactly what was promised when you purchased the previous six months: access to the game. If you used the promotional subscription, you also received the current promotional mount.

The fact that you didn’t find enough value or enjoy the six months, or your life situation changed with your child is on your end. You don’t need any particular reason to cancel your sub, but when you do, you simply don’t qualify for the “loyalty” rewards.

As Teufelgott said above, if you are leaving the game, then there’s no need to worry about an in-game mount.

?? I’m not sure why you think you know my gender, or why you think I know yours. It really doesn’t matter who is male, female, trans, cis, etc. The rules apply the same way to everyone.

You said it yourself above:

If you don’t want to understand the rules, or consider possible consequences (both positive and negative) to your action, then as you put it, you can “do you boo”.

But Blizzard is not going to change their policies to accommodate you not reading the terms you signed up for.

You sound like a solid victim card player here.

Well done. If you knew you financially couldn’t cover it then I guess your best recourse is to just accept it for what it is. You are owed nothing and to think otherwise is very naive of you.
