My paladin horse needs no silly wings, its got magical paladin armor that helps it levitate… or something…
(it also used to be a demon horse until we set it straight)

Tyreal’s charger and the Celestial mount sort-of fill that niche.
Having said that, a horse mount that works like the water-tiger mount (only showing wings when it flies) would be cool.
