Leveling a monk and the masters at the peak of serenity are doing insane damage… I was able to handle the first 2 masters the quests had me fight… But now they are kicking my a$$ so fast even with full heirlooms… Really seems like some sort of scaling problem here, even outside of them I feel really weak out in the world leveling… I felt fine I would say up to lvl 20, but now it seems the higher lvl I get the weaker I get, using gear im getting from the quests and some dungeon pieces… Not sure if its supposed to be this way or if the scaling is a bit off, curios to know if its just monks or if all classes are feeling really weak while leveling 10-50
note: I am getting top dps in most dungeon runs im doing so I dont think its me messing up my class or being stupid, but this is my first monk so idk =/
Same thing on my L35 Monk right now. Damage just didn’t get squished enough I guess. It’s also the guy the text says you’re supposed to interrupt, but I don’t see any cast bar at all before he melts me in ~20 seconds.
My monk is lvl 36 now, and I was thinking the same thing about these level squishs. I am having a very difficult time in some areas, and Pretty simple in others. So It’s like the luck of the draw. And I’ve noticed that Some mobs are much easier than that guy standing right next to him are… I was trying to get that purple crystal on the Timeless Isle Caves, and those mobs inside are ridiculously Hard, they were killing me in like two shots. I had to keep sneaking past them to collect the crystals until I found the one with the crystal I wanted. That area shows that it is a level 30 - 35 area, I was level 34 at the time. So I think a little adjustment is required.
