I just bought a new pc. My las one was a little dated and started to act up. I just took this on out of the box and set it up. From the get go I was getting power offs. I will be doing something and the keyboard, mouse and monitor will power down randomly but all the lights on the tower stay on. Sometimes after a few seconds it comes back on but I have to log back in. Any advice? (Not very tech savy)
P.S. one of the issues that made me finally ditch the last pc was the video card would not stay on. Could It be related to the power in my apartment?
It’s very possible. Could you try a different outlet (preferably on a different circuit, if possible?)

Hi. Are the mouse and key-board usb connections? If so, try changing connection sites. This isn’t to fix anything, but it might isolate a bad or poor connection.
Notice any flickering in your apartment lights? Lights that are plugged into an outlet your computer could use?

It might be that 1 or more cords has become loose during shipping. Have you tried taking off the cover and tried pushing them in yet? A slightly loose connection could be the culprit.

I did quickly, I will have to go through a little more thoroughly today I think.
You need to isolate the issue. Is the problem from the power coming to the apartment, the outlet, the power strip? Using a ups may be an option to help if your apartment is experiencing power fluctuations.
