Hello, I recently put my pc in the shop and have been using my wifes PC. I run everything else at Ultra about 60FPS or more. But WoW looks like garbage and runs like garbage
RX 6600 XT, Ryzen 5 5600G all my drivers are up to date. Any solutions?

Reset the display to default…
Just these settings … Button.
I just adjust ui … Box to check… Slider.
Field of view to 50… Or adjust to your eyes.
Synk or not …?
What number the default displays will tell you how well you can enjoy the game.
My system is at low end… 3 is my default.
Best is… When it looks good in a raid group… Set it up for that.
That CPU is kinda gimped for WoW, but also, not every setting is worth maxing out. On the flipside, the 6600 XT is a solid 1080p card.
Ray Tracing in WoW isn’t super great in most areas, but it’s a huge performance penalty to run it. Can drop it to Low, or just turn it off.
View Distance, and sometimes Liquid Detail (especially in the Emerald Dream/Amirdrassil) eat a lot of performance on the CPU-side. You can also tick down Environmental Detail, and see if it helps. Particle Density can be lowered, though I don’t recommend turning it off.
The in-game upscaler is completely broken, and enabling it actually reduces your framerate.
You can grab the AFMF2 preview driver and use that feature if you want, but it’s usually a feature better enjoyed for hitting over 60 FPS. I sometimes like to use it in the Summer to keep GPU temps down, and limit my framerate to 120 to hit 240 with it.
Also, you can run through the usual suspects, like turning down/off advanced combat logging (letting someone else do it, maybe), reducing Details update interval (if using it), or seeing if any WeakAuras or other addons are unnecessarily overbearing.
What I find works for me is this:
Optional gpu features - off
SSAO - off
Ray Tracing - off
The big one for my 6700 XT was surprisingly the “Optional gpu features” being disabled. For whatever reason, it made a huge impact and smoothed things out very much.
