I came across a random article today on PCGamesn titled “Players will kill WoW, and the Plunderstorm backlash proves it” which I found somewhat interesting.
The writer, Lauren Bergin, basically says (and these are not her exact words) that Plunderstorm is an amazing addition to dragonflight which has otherwise been stagnant without it and that everyone complaining when they try something new is what’s going to ruin and eventually kill the game.
Also that so and so famous streamer thinks the community is trash for complaining? Not sure why she threw that in at the end but okay?
You can read her actual full article here:

So what do you think? Is this community unfairly against all new change? Are we keeping the game stagnant?
Personally I think it’s a resounding, heck no!
Even here on the forums, aka, “The Negativity Cesspool” as its often not so affectionately reffered to… we saw tons of positive feedback about the addition of dynamic flight, for example. That was new and most people still liked it. Sure there was complaining too, and some of it fair, but the point is, most people liked it.
I think calling the forums always negative, as if its some unanimous, angry hivemind is silly. Whether the majority is for or against something, its never in complete agreement on anything, but on the whole there are always positive voices in the mix.
Also, how could players kill the game unless blizz lets them? Which they won’t… obviously!
Blizz will always keep trying new things. Look at warbands and delves? And these shiny new things come because of forum feedback, not in spite of it.
What do you think?
