Rip jaw v 16gb 3200
Sapphire rx 590 nitro+ se 8gb vram
27inch monitor hp ips 60zh 1080p
What monitor you recommend as well?
Get a better display
RX 590 still got some gas left in the tank, should even be able to power 1440 pretty well. Ryzen 7 2700x still plenty potent.
A 1440p/144hz w/Freesync will be a big improvement.
1440p is a little pricy

You don’t need to upgrade. I misread the title and though it was “what should I upgrade” not “what do I need to upgrade.”
Don’t need to upgrade anything if you are cool with what you got. Regarding system requirements, you’re good and should have a great experience at 1080p without many compromises.
So just my monitor that’s all?
only thing in your system that seems old. Nowadays most users are on 1080p/144 or 1440p+ displays

If you like your monitor keep it. You don’t need to upgrade anything in your pc if it’s doing the job for you

FYI, one of my favorite quotes from Toms monitor reviewer.
We’ve said time and time again that resolution does not matter nearly as much as motion quality, contrast, and color accuracy. When the gaming planets are aligned, the extra pixel density provided by a QHD or UHD screen just doesn’t have much additional impact.
