Pawn string

Hi all.
I am looking for a reliable pawn string. I have found one on noxxic. I tried to use an add on called healer Stat weights that is changing stats all the time I grouping.

Any suggestion?

I forget to say that I need this string for this toon that is a resto druid

That isn’t how a pawn string works. I’d suggest googling a video on pawn

Don’t use noxxic.

Noxxic is toxic, avoid it like the plague. Stat weights are dynamic, they will change every encounter. As Resto, don’t use the base one with Pawn. Create ones for each type of content you do (raid, M+, etc). Then manually adjust them with the numbers on HSW. This will give you the stats weights that work for you.

For example, right now for raids, my weights look something like:

Crit=Mastery>Vers>Int>Haste

M+ would look like:

Mastery>Crit>Vers>Int>Haste

Edit: looking at you gear, you would prolly not see secondary stats outweighing Int. This is why it’s never recommended to use stock weights.

Isn’t this intended for DPS?

It doesn’t work like that.

No because secondaries have different values for different specs. The breakpoints for diminishing returns vary as well. Some examples:

Each healer has a unique mastery interaction and some are better than others so the value of mastery fluctuates. Shaman mastery is not near as good as Druid mastery. Druid and Disc love haste while many other healing specs it is last or near last in overall value. Crit is great for Shaman and Holy (also refunds mana for Sham) but is not particularly good for Druid because of how strong mastery and haste work with their hots it actually creates more throughput than crit per point.

What?

Damage and healing aren’t the same thing. You prioritize different stats.

This is all ignoring that stat weights are worthless/pointless, but still.

Yeah raidbots doesn’t work for healing in any form. Weights for DPS and weights for healing are nothing alike. As an obvious and big example consider that Mastery has 0 value for DPS (which is what you’ll get from Raidbots) but is one of our strongest healing stats.

So from what I read I won’t find any pawn string for resto druid but I will need to stack int than mastery haste vers and last crit?

It’s not that you won’t find any, it’s just that it’s unlikely they’ll be of any use to you, since they’re not adapted to the content you do and the gear you have.

As a general rule, try to always have Mastery in every piece of armour you equip, specially when they come with Haste. If that is not possible, try to get Haste, otherwise equip whatever has the highest ilvl. Intellect is OK, but unless it’s a considerable upgrade (15 ilvls or more) you don’t want to take it over pieces with Mastery and/or Haste, even less if they come with a socket.

In raids, Mastery loses some value since you won’t stack your HoTs as often. At worst it’ll be your 2nd best stat by a small amount, with Critical Strike pushing for the top. Versatility has some added value since it also reduces the damage you take, but it’s not substantially great.

In short, prioritize equipping pieces with Mastery and/or Haste. Use Mastery gems for every socket but one (use +120 Intellect).
