like the title saids i like the option to pause my wow game time.
like what hulu does you can say how long you like to pause your sub and will resume automatic after this but you can resume early if you wish

Not possible you want a change post in general or use the ingame suggestion feature.

I’m fairly certain if you contact customer service, or make a ticket to a GM, they will lock your account/game time. You’ll have to contact them again to get it unlocked. My brother has done this in the past. It was awhile ago though, so policies may have changed.

What would this hurt, other than quarterly shareholder reports? I think it’s a good idea in the long run. It would give players a sense of agency.

Blizz will pause your gametime sometimes, it depends on the GM you get though. Also, blizz doesn’t lose any money even if you play every second of your sub time or don’t log in at all. Your purchase of time today doesn’t imply purchase of time later so denying a pause is more likely to cause lost profits than letting them finish their time later.
I think Blizzard has gotten too wrapped up in the idea that they can force people to do stuff because “sunk cost fallacy”.

All you can do is cancel, which stops it billing the next time.
It would be like when you go to a restaurant, order a full meal, only eat part of it, and only get charged for what you ate instead of what you ordered.

It’d be more like eating part of the meal, feeling dissatisfied with what you’re eating, taking the remainder of the meal back to the waiter and asking if you can just have a credit on file for the next time you come in to eat instead of asking for a refund, which you would ordinarily be welcome to request at that point otherwise.
it used to work in TBC Live.
when you purchase 6 months of game time and live in an imperfect world, sometimes you need to pause game time, or get a refund.

Yeah, holy cow.
It’s doubtful if they play the game anymore but even if they do I’m sure their game time has expired at this point.
