And the games story is suffering because of it. They have an established universe and lore they are just ignoring, it is fine to make some changes gradually but only if doesn’t butcher the established universe. If the writer can’t divorce the real world from a fantasy one written for entertainment they need to step away from writing it.
They have multiple writers in Warcraft all working on different parts of the game and all of them are going to have a different view on politics. Them bringing they’re own biases into the part of the game they are writing is going to have a terrible effect on the story.
