Havent seen any notes on incoming Pathfinder. Dragon riding is cute for 2 minutes, then it just a chore that makes me throw away all my mounts Ive collected over the years and combined with only being able to go at 1500% speed increase or 0 it leaves going to fast or not at all. Why cant we chill and hover?

There’s no reason to gate normal flying. If people want to use a gimped and slow version of flying, let them. This negates any whining about druids:

Unlocking dragonriding doesn’t delete your mounts or your previous riding skills, though. If you want to stand around afk on your favorite mount nothing is stopping you

You are running into a skill issue. Look up some guides and you will enjoy it a lot more . Dragon riding is an amazing feature. A lot of people are enjoying it

I think the main fear is that all the backlash and eventual caving would make the devs not want to carry dragonriding forward
Not a good counter. That it even existed would be the problem. I say take all flight and convert it to Dragonriding, giving Druids and Dracthyr the ability to do it in form.
Regardless though, a lock out from Flight form is a good thing on the Isles. Dragonriding forces Druids to finally compete on the same level as everyone else when it comes to gathering.
It means I will not feel required to play one if I want to gather materials.
…And that is glorious.
