I’m just curious will I be able to unlock flying by finishing part 2 of the BFA Pathfinder achieve on a different faction? I know a lot of people say it works like legion but I’m unclear because it’d be on horde which I have not done the quest achievements. Hope I can.
You can finish it on either faction. It’s account-wide, not faction bound.
Rule of thumb: If you can see the achievement on your character’s achievements, then it counts for that character.
You should be able to see Pathfinder Part 1 on your Horde character’s achievement screen when you check. So, when Part 2 becomes an available achievement, it will see that Part 1 achievement (no matter where you originally got it), and count it.

I do not think they will require you to play both factions or switch factions.
We can only guess, based on history. In WoD there was just 1 pathfinder. In Legion, pathfinder-2 was part of a new mini-zone they opened up (Broken shore). Later they opened another mini-zone (Argus) with no flying.
Isn’t there a new zone in 8.2? I vaguely remember Blizzcon’18 talking about a sea zone (home of the nagas) and a gnome-tunnels zone (home of mega-whatzit). So it seems likely that pathfinder-2 will be in one of those, whichever one is released in 8.2.
Thanks Yrael I shouldn’t have posted but I was confused at the time(just unlocked my pathfinder pt 1), however, I did not know that for achievements but makes sense.
