Hi,

I completed pathfinder P1. I noticed that I completed the achievement on one character and then all my alts recieved the movement speed buff etc.

Does pathfinder p2 work the same way? I decided to roll a new main in 8.2 and that character doesn’t have any of the rep/story line achievements etc as my main. Will I still unlock pathfinder p2 if that alt completes all the necessary requirements in the 8.2 content like getting revered with the rustbucket resistance and exploring etc.? I hope that makes sense.

Pt2 should be unlocked no matter what character completes it’s requirements.

If you do all the PF2 requirements on the new main, yes it’ll unlock flight account wide. However, all the PF2 requirements need to be done on the same character. You cannot, for example, get the reps on your new main, but get the exploration credit on your previous main.

You can’t split the achievement itself among characters, but you can split the 2 parts of the overall Pathfinder achievement among characters.
