There is a very big difference between a blizzard shill and a yesman.
Everything you are saying says new blizzard is catering to your playstyle. Of course you are going to be their yesman.

Exactly.
If anyone is ‘killing’ this game it is Blizzard themselves by removing OPTIONS that allowed FREEDOM of choice.
Im half expecting them to remove ALL sources of experience other than their chosen ones to further control game play.
Kay.
So your playing an MMO, sometimes you gotta do stuff you don’t wanna do.
you keep bringing experience and leveling up into the conversation.
The conversation is about reputation.
How dare a fictional faction not trust you more, becasue instead of doing them favors, you decide to go engage in a faction war, go make pets battle each other, or go pick flowers.
Those factions should totally like you more just because you do things, even if it doesn’t effect those factions.
It’s almost like this is an MMORPG, and if you want someone to like you you should do something for them.
Couple main parts to progression in any RPG, mmo or not. Progress in story pretty much is always through quests. Including side quests.
The bigger concern for me in character progression. This starts with leveling, and leveling is in bad shape. Only point to leveling right now is to hury to max level. Then power gain threw gear and expertise in game mechanics. Blizzard has lost me with the current design. Talents in gear? Stat squish to the point of making leveling feel pointless? Professions? Our auction market? What the …?
As far as rep and pathfinder. Pathfinder is a cool achievement if flying was not gated behind it. As for rep i agree with others have said bring back rep tabards, and or add more ways to earn it.
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
When the legendary cloak required PvP, and I refused to do PVp, guess what I never got? the Legendary cloak.
If I dont’ want to do something, I just won’t do it, if I miss out on benefits for it, oh well. I’ll live and move on.
No, this conversation is about pathfinder.
And AGAIN…flight was FINE BEFORE pathfinder.
it wasnt a problem before blizzard made it one.
It’s a conversation about pathfinder,
but the focus is about the reputation required to get the achivement.
It’s literally about the reputation gains.
I don’t really care about flying personally. So I’m not really interested in getting into a conversation about flight.
Not relevant.
Flight was open to ALL players for max level and gold prior to WoD and wasnt a problem until Blizzard decided to make it a problem.
Its absurd to have so many paths to level yet only ONE to a basic mode of travel.
Then WHY are you here in a thread ABOUT flight/pathfinder?
Okay… Still not really interested in having a conversation about flight, because I don’t really care about it. So I guess that the end of that, if that’s all you want to talk about.
Well said.
I would like ways to build rep and obtain mats like hyrdocore via casual PvP. Not sure why blizz doesn’t add such an option. It’s not like they can’t set the bar to be as “challenging” as they consider appropriate.
Do you mean like paying gold I had to grind for and being max level for flight like a long part of the games existence?
I would, too, if Blizzard gave us a quality daily reward for queuing up like they have in past expansions.
Exactly. Blizzard is catering to your playstyle so you dont give a crap about other playstyles that used to be perfectly viable. Rep is only important at this point for 2 things, allied races and flight. Beyond that, outside of the dungeon unlock(which you dont need exalted for, still dont like it but easier to stomach) they practically dont matter(well Champ rep matters…but thats a whole nother topic)
The only reason rep is a talking point is because we were forced to talk about it for anyone who still liked living in dungeons/BG’s. People are going to keep complaining until it is less sucky.
I’m in a thread about people complaining that doing a few quests a day was apparently too much effort for them.
I made a comment that i find that silly.
Then people decided I was a blizzard shill / yesman, because I find this to be a ridiculous complain.
So I was commenting on the complain about the rep grind. Since that seems to be all people are complaining about.
Seems like massive waste of time to me to complain on the forums, instead of just doing it.
What does pathfinder do?
its about flight, eh?
So again…why are you here if you arent here to talk about flight and pathfinder?
you seriously dont get the irony?
Youre wasting time in here complaining ABOUT complaining
At least our complaints are about the GAME itself and the changes we want to see.
And why are You here arguing so vehemently when you already quit the game?
What difference does the method to earn flight make for you, when you don’t even play this game?
I would like rep to be relevant again for gear and crafted mats.
I mean,
You can complain if you want, I still think it’d be easier and take less time to just do the quests.
Also, wow is “catering” to people who do quests and dailies/
Wow, it’s never done this before, ever in the existence of all wow.
Honestly i’m getting the feeling people are complaining to complain at this point.
If your not going to do world quests, why do you even care about flight? There are plenty of flight masters everywhere, plenty of hearthstones you can pick up, and flight master whistles to utilize to get around.
If all you do is Dungeon and PvP, you can’t use flighting moutns in those areas anyways.
Flight will only majorly effect people doing quests, and gathering herbs.
And in warmode, maybe effect people getting ganked or pvp.
So if you don’t like questing, are you just looking to afk in queue while on a flying mount flying in place?
To each their own I guess.
