Pathfinder "just play the game"

Well, I’m not the one that calls the shots on that Blizzard is.

And they’ve been firm on their stance for how to get flying.

If your unwilling to do 4 quests a day, check on your ship, or do island expeditions (Which is basically just mindless mob murdering just like dungeons). Then I’m not really sure what to tell you.

Blizzard did originally want to completely remove flying as a whole, and it seems like most of your interest relies on instanced gameplay which wouldn’t allow the use of flying mounts anyways.

Sorry if it’s not the answer your looking for, but until blizzard randomly decides to do a 180 on their stance on flight, I don’t really see much being changed.

Survey says!.. WRONG. You were doing it wrong. You must do it blizzard’s way or hit the highway. For the health of the game, they must strip it to a skeleton and then beat it with it’s own bones until it admits that it’s not hungry. Geez, entitled players thinking that you enjoyed the game before Capt. Raid & Rep came along to put us on the right path.

If they want to keep reps in as a requirement for Pathfinder, that’s fine. I just want options that would suit my playstyle to earn rep.

You must’ve missed the part where I said that I play this game for wpvp.

ugh.
Its called FARMING.
Next question…

You want factions to give you reputation and like you more for wandering murdering other players?

I dunno how that really benefits the factions.

the expansion will have been out for almost a YEAR before we have access to flying.

you get that it’s not OK, yes?

i get you have green text and you got said color because you are super pc but for the love of baby jesus please don’t just toe the company line at every point.

its off-putting

Maybe because we’re at war with them? Protecting them from an enemy faction sure seems like a good way to earn rep.

Wait, you don’t know how it can benefit the factions, that are under attack from the opposite faction, to kill the opposite faction?

And the highway it is.
I decided to move my second account to my main Bnet account so its just one login now. I did that mainly so the account I wont be using will be easier to make sure its not been hacked or stolen.

The other account that Im keeping subbed wont be played at all except for maybe twice a month when my younger nephew is on with his mother. Hes loves playing the game and always asks for me and my wife to play with him.
I’ll keep that account subbed solely to play for an hour or so with him a couple times a month, but as far as Im concerned this game is dead to me at this point.

I loved WoW when I started.
Ion made me hate the game…him and his clownish controlling ways.

Turtles don’t give a damn if you kill the horde.

Maybe the main alliance one you could argue that. But most of the other factions are focused on their tasks.

The Witch Hunters in Dustvr don’t give a damn if you killed a horde in Stormgarde, they are dealing with the witches in their forest.

The people of Stormgrade are expected to shower you with praise for killing horde on another island/ They have cultists trying to kill and kidnap the populace.

But I guess you’d have to actually quest in the areas to know that sort of stuff.

Doesn’t stop players from mudering them, then it’s players like me that save them.

yeah?
And they were ‘firm’ in those flight costs in Northrend and MOP…and then they werent.
Next.

Players generally don’t murder NPCs, they might kill guards to get attention, but generally speaking they aren’t running around murdering NPCs.

I still don’t see the benefits of you feeding your bloodlust against the horde being a direct benefit to some of these factions.

It doesn’t make thematic sense.

You do realize that since these new factions ally with us except for the turtles make them enemies of the opposite faction right? That’s why they’re red and guards attack you if you go near them because we’re you know, at war…

Just because your allies doesn’t mean they give a damn about you randomly murdering people somewhere else.

Like I said, each zone has it’s own problems it’s dealing with, and cares more about their local problems, then you running off into the wild killing nameless horde members.

Ok, better get back to killing those pesky pigs then.

You mean the pigs actively killing all the other live stock, attacking people and wrecking farms? Aye, I bet the farmers of Dustvr care more about those hexed pigs than they do a orc in Vol’dun.

That isn’t true.

In the past WoW used to offer diverse ways to earn rep. For example rep tabards which actually offered choice.

yep…those Zandalari that are all over MOP drop rep tokens for a number of factions.
Time consuming, but we did it and got exalted on all of them that drop.

They would also care if a quest was added for players to attack an enemy town killing their livestock or populace and players.

People don’t do that though do they? No not in war, definitely not.
