Pathfinder Account-wide

I am coming back to Wow after a long break. I am wondering about Pathfinder achievements for WoD, Legion, and BFA. From what I’ve read, it seems Pathfinder for BFA is account-wide, but faction-relative. Are the Pathfinder achievements for WoD and Legion also faction-relative? Or does it actually apply cross-faction?

They, in fact, are.

Its basically a spell added to your spellbook

You’ll have the account wide Pathfinder for each part, but some stuff like unlocking Kul Tirans if you played Horde you’d have to redo the zones just to get the quest to pop up. You can also do one part on one toon and the second part on another toon as well.

Legion is account wide but not faction relative, and I believe WoD is account wide and not faction.

It unlocked account wide faction wide, but you need to do each pathfinder in each expansion to unlock flying in each expansion… so you have 3 to do WoD, Legion and BfA

If you do all three, you’ve won the game!

It sounds like you are saying BFA Pathfinder is also not faction-relative and applies to both factions, though since you have to get exalted for allied race unlocks, you’ll have to work all the way up from scratch for the other faction that you didn’t do for Pathfinder. Is that an accurate interpretation?

If you do it on one side, you don’t have to worry about doing the faction stuff on the other side to start part two is what I meant. You’d only have to do that if you wanted to do the war campaign and unlock the current AR.

I ended up doing both factions stuff to use one character to unlock both sides. I hope I made that clear hehe
