With Warcraft reforged being a dud and the Diablo 2 resurrection Amazon looking like her face was smashed in. I am loosing faith in Blizzard’s ability to deliver a good game. I am thinking that Path of Exile 2 ( https://www.pathofexile.com/poe2 ) might fit the bill for a casual game as a break from WoW. Anybody know of any streamers that have played both and have compared the two? Any thoughts on the two games?
Well it’s just reached Alpha testing so there are going to be a lot of problems.
D2: Resurrected is going to rely a lot on the nostalgia and a lot of people will give it a pass for minor, and some not so minor, problems.
I’ll wait until Beta testing at least before forming a more solid opinion on whether it is a good comparison to POE2.
I am not happy with the changes to the game. For example by making the Amazon’s character model and character more square and shorter, they really have changed the personality of the character. Before in the original D2, the Amazon was the lean and agile ranged physical damage dealer. Now, the Amazon looks to be a body builder who smashes stuff close up. The Amazon has lost her uniqueness becoming just another melee.
