I’ve been trying out the Path of Ascension and I gotta say it seems a little bit insane compared to the other covenants features (or whatever you want to call them). I was expecting maybe a brawlers guild level of difficulty and I’m not sure if it’s bugged, overturned or maybe I’m just terrible, because this is ridiculous.
You cant LoS the chain ability which seems insane and their other ability will one shot you.
Anybody having any luck with PoA? I really want the mog but every YouTube video I’ve searched seems to be using out of date information.
Thanks!

Read up on how to counter POA bosses, they are easy once learned to the point where you take 0 damage from most. Pelagos+speed boots= cant touch this.
OP is not yet worthy… just saying

So basically, you were not prepared?

It’s almost like there’s another way to counter it or something.
That’s not just snark, it’s a hint.

Yeah to get the equivalent Necrolord set you apparently just level up the Abom Factory and buy it. The difference seems a tad ridiculous.

I agree. This is not a comparable difficulty or amount of effort to the other covenant’s equivalent features.
I just kinda stay away from it.
It isnt fun.
It isnt explained like at all.
I don’t physically see any reward to do it or trying to figure it out.
Maybe like a year from now when I’ve run outta content, I’ll return and try it out.
If I’m bored.

Even after researching the strats these vehicle fights are quite hard. I’ve been practicing, but am stuck at level 1 of the 3rd boss.
Which boss was that? Most if not all were easy, Pelagos is a easy win with speed boots.
For 500 malleable flesh. cracks whip at Chordy Sniff faster!!
That mechanic is so easy to do my dude.
cough Sounds like you didn’t use the boots that you craft for this boss fight that you need for that part of the fight…that or you did craft it but didn’t equip it.
I beat the 1st boss they give you, but can’t seem to turn in the quest and have no clue how to unlock more bosses. I instantly lost interest in this feature. Thankfully it’s non player power stuff involved with it.
Few points.
You are meant to lose the 1st round. It’s technically beatable but the point was to fail so you can be introduced to the equipment mechanic which is how you counter the boss mechanics.
It’s very much a practice makes perfect thing. You can farm medals and thus try as often as you want. Unlike say the Vethnyr whose mechanics are insanely clunky and you get 1 shot at it a week.
Keep doing the quests to unlock the various equipment and then learn how to use each and look up boss strats where you will see which soulbind to use and which equipment to counter the boss.
There is only cosmetic rewards. If transmog pieces and mounts don’t interest you, then you can skip the feature entirely.
You need this to get an item that allows you to access Sundancer and get the mount.

I’m enjoying it. It’s like a tiny mage tower. Beat it and get cosmetic rewards. Vehicle fights are not my favorite but I think it makes it easier for them to balance vrs trying to do it for all classes.
I’m having some buggy experiences with Craven Corinth in particular. In the second phase he just attacks my character instead of the orb. After a certain amount of time he’s “eaten it” even though he’s been chasing me down the whole time.
He also hits like a truck and super speedy.
