After some back and forth with tickets I have been told to make a post here. I have upgraded my Path of Ascension to rank 5 however I can no longer progress in unlocking bosses as Athanos’ tier 2 fight is locked despite having beat all previous bosses at their tier 1 and 2 difficulties.
Along with me being locked out of Athanos’ tier 2 fight I do not have the option to craft items for the quests to unlock the remaining 2 bosses.
I do not have any quests or items in my bags or bank that could be associated with it, I have also turned in and crafted everything from previous bosses.

I’m having the same issue. Is this going to be fixed?
Bumping. Still seems to be an issue and I’m not finding work arounds documented anywhere. I have 80 renown and the path fully unlocked but am stuck with only two bosses and no quests to unlock any more. I had had quests to unlock at least one more in my logs but they disappeared when I swapped covenants and I can’t seem to get them restarted now.
I am stuck at the very beginning cannot get credit for defeating Kalisthene or Echthra. Have complete the campaign (9/9) Path of Ascension is rank 4. Have turned off all addons reset interface as suggested after numerous tickets. Now I am here begging for Wow to fix this issue. I desperately want to complete the Trial of Ascension and be able to purchase the Transmog/mount.
I have had the same issue for the entire expansion.
I really wish they would address this already.
Now that Shadowlands is practically over, I finally figured out the problem.
TLDR, I went to 59,72 in Maldraxxus and picked up a quest from Mad Mortimer.
I only figured this out by doing the Path of Ascension from scratch on an alt.
If you are stuck and this doesn’t work for you, I would see what memories you are missing and go to the zone and find that NPC. He will likely have a quest for you.
