I have no horse in the race…I have no negative thought or experience of Trill, but lets be real here, hes probably saying the word. There’s no other word here that works or makes sense. Sterge even straight up said, on that same thread, that trill used the word throughout multiple expansions.
Like what else could it be? Here’s the transcript:

just repeatedly move the video player to 4 seconds over and over and it becomes so much more obvious hes saying it.

Sounds like he was mumbling and only a part of what he said was audible, sounds like air or fair, maybe part of unfair.
Could care less about a word, regardless of which he said so it wouldn’t bother me any if he did. Just doesn’t sound like it, doesn’t sound like there is a G in what is he saying, doesn’t even really sound like multiple syllables but that could just be due to mumbling.
Just assumed it would be extremely clear with the way some people are acting.
If you spam play it like you said it does sound more like it though, Meh still don’t care.
It’s not very relevant, probably equates to around a ~2% overall buff. Probably less tbh.

If there’s one thing people need to realize by now, it’s that the human brain can’t always be trusted. It’s not that crazy to imagine the brain perceived the sound incorrectly in some individuals.
For that though you should be able to hear “yanny” or “laurel” just by thinking it, I only hear one thing when I replay the clip and think about what others are hearing.
I can’t easily make my brain flip between hearing anything but laurel. I could probably do it if I really tried though. The point is that people are going to naturally hear one thing and someone else is going to naturally hear another thing. Forcing yourself to hear one thing or another thing with intent is a completely different… thing.

I play Elune’s Chosen and get good results so far. I’m by no means a top player, but after the Keeper of the Grove nerf, I think they are both viable choices. Having 3 instant Starfires (Warrior of Elune) that BLAST with Lunar Calling talented is under-appreciated. Also, every Owlkin Frenzy proc you get gives instant Starfires too.
Losing a little bit of random damage but gaining a good chunk of consistent damage is way more impactful I think. Starsurge is going to be actually threatening and I’m so ready for it.
Oh! And not to mention, the Moonfire/Sunfire bug should be fixed (I hope in this next reset, but maybe not until 11.1.5 idk). Which is huge for consistent damage.

Boomy just needs a calculated but noticeable survivability buff.
We sent one of our best to AWC and he was just tunneled all game long.
That in itself is not a problem… But how ALL Boomy defense dampens is!

Yeah but another 3 % starsurge buff ontop of 3% overall spelldamage buff. Keeper’s burst window is already strong enough without these.
Tempest hits really hard already
So no HoL buff… now im forced to play herald to be competitive. Hate that spec. Awesome
