Last 3 days i have had progressively larger patches in the evening. Starting from 7gb, then 8.3gb and tonight an 8.43gb patch. Are these legit patches? My guild is indicating they aren’t seeing patches of this size and im curious if this is more of a repair action or if something is getting corrupted.

Guess it would depend on what you see is downloading, I don’t think it’s retail, maybe classic or PTR?
Suppose it could be a scan and repair as well.
Do you run a 13th or 14th gen intel cpu?
If so you may have corruption from a failing processor.

You haven’t given anyone enough info to help you solve this. It doesn’t sound normal at all.
what is the size of your install and what is installed? the basic retale on mine is 126 Gb if it is about this size then it is seeing errors and trying to patch them.
I have no idea what gen my chip is. But, i do have a 8.46gb download happening right now.
