Patch Day!

What are all of you folks going to do with all of this down time?

Luckily I’m at work for 10 hours today. All I will do is check here at GD to see whats happening. So, everyone have a nice “day off” of WOW.

I also work 10 hours a day, Monday through Thursday. Patch day never bothers me.

My buddy here at work was going to “call in” today. I asked him why, so you can just look at a log in screen for 8+ hours.

Yep, but you know people will do it. My SO is taking a couple of use/lose days… but not til Thursday and Friday… things should be relatively stable by then.

I run a metal fab shop and i have 6 folk under me. Two of them called in today…and even though i doubt theyre gamers…i cant help but think they called in because of patch day today. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sadly, I’m on the east coast and only work from 9am-3pm.

Assuming that the patch will run smoothly, I still have to wait a whole three hours.

Nothing too bad, though. I have plenty of other games I can play while waiting.

This is an excellent past-time. I’ve got plenty of experience with this, even in vanilla when down-times consisted of an entire day.

Watch the forums in between solving issues at work. There is always those who take off patch day to get a early jump and then waste the day because of the maintenance.

I am really going to clean this time… right after i watch this infomercial for a magic bullet. Oh it is a food processor? Sigh back to cleaning

Trying to figure out where I want to get Pizza at today while the servers are down…

I am thinking Papa Johns if the coupon code I know of still works, if not maybe Dominos? Then again, its been a hot minute since I have had Papa Murphy’s… :thinking:

Currently at work. It’s not raining heavily for once so going to do some overdue yardwork upon getting home.

After that, uh, stare blankly at a wall for a couple hours until servers are up or something.
