There is no encrypted map, that’s the point.
For Tirisfal is was very clear that there was an encrypted map, it was found immediately. You aren’t just unable to find something as a dataminer.
Either it’s there or it isn’t. There’s no Night Elf stuff.
What content did the Night Elves get in Shadowlands? 
I don’t think the map they found was encrypted, it seems to have been not encrypted.
If there was night elf stuff I would assume it’s not added. That quest in kalimdor could be anything, even a dark ranger flashback.
Tbh I feel like these are often shots in the dark.
Everyone was convinced San’Layn were going to be the Forsaken’s AR. And I’m still relieved that didn’t happen.
I like vampires and Belves so you’d think I’d be excited but that would probably doom the Forsaken playerbase. Especially pre being able to wear pants.
Like 50% of the Red player base is already elves. Give them a goth variant it’s going to be at least 65%.
Hard to take the elves seriously as some endangered race when at any given moment every third person is one.

I would only wish if the dwarves would not only be reduced to “drink alcohol and lose everything in doing so”, the quest is short and not particularly…exciting so far.
“Hei, i lost my construction notes because i thought i would win…by gambling with other dwarfs…”
So we got some highmountain stuff datamined. Flynn Fairwind. Uh some human disguises. That dark ranger quest. Millhouse manastorm. Ysera, and some night fae stuff.

Blizzard is trying really hard to avoid giving the Night Elves anything that could be positive huh. They have been for over 4 years now
That’s why they are also not getting a revamp while the Forsaken are. Now the Forsaken have their own zone revamped and they also have Darkshore in the game.
Blizzard probably considers the Darkshore revamp for the warfront to the the equivalent for redoing Tirisfal.
Uh but the counterpart to Tirisfal is Teldrassil… and Darkshore is as much a Night Elf zone as it is a Forsaken zone in the game currently…

Actually the counterpart for Teldrassil was Undercity. I have the feeling at the time the Devs forgot Teldrassil was an entire zone and confused it with Darnassus. The community certainly did so as well.
The entire thing was a mess, but I wouldn’t doubt them considering revamping Tirisfal to counter the Darkshore revamp. The forsaken were dumped on too by BFA (by no means as bad as the Night Elves had been) and were forgotten about as Blizzard bumbled about knocking over more stuff over trying to figure out what to do about the Night elves. (They are still at it.)

I just find it incredibly gross and unfair that the Night Elves are once again getting nothing. The Night Elves and Forsaken were promised a future revamp, yet only the forsakem are getting theirs. It’s the same when Blizzard promised the Night Elves a resolution for Teldrassil in Shadowlands that never came… except their souls being obliterated once and for all…

Seems interesting so far, my assumption is that they’re making a push to dump as many unused racial assets into the game as well as trying to update key areas that would have been hit hardest by the Scourge going bonkers. If it’s a clean up loose threads patch, which let’s be real, the story sorely needs, we might also see chains for Void Elves as well, to unlock their weapons, though of course it’s a bit wonky with the Allied Races, some got their matching weapons put in the game and others didn’t.
Lightforged have theirs, locked behind a really annoying achievement, and Nightborne have theirs now too. Meanwhile Mag’har and Kul Tirans technically have thematically matching weapons already, as do Mechagnomes via Mechagon and dungeon drops. Vulpera don’t really seem like they’d have racial weapons given their “if i can stab someone with it, it’s a weapon” mindset.
Very possible we’ll see heritage chains for kaldorei and Forsaken in this patch, though I’m not holding out much hope. Would love to see trolls and draenei get theirs, Darkspear don’t have many thematic sets, ironically.

I do see people “forgetting” that Teldrassil is an entire zone and not just one city.

The writers themselves forgot that Teldrassil was more than just night elves and worgen, there were furbolg, children of Cenarius, harpies, bog elementals and several beasts living in it.

Id just like to mention you are jumping ahead a bit too far. This is the first build and while we may not see any quests or whatnot playable like the dark iron or sin’dorei, it does seem like something is being added.
Tyrande, Shandris and a bunch of kaldorei soul NPCs were added. The rest simply didn’t make it in yet.
