New encrypted mounts and pets were also added in this build:
- 1 battle pet using bear cub sounds

This is quicker then expect. Also why is there q blood elf heritage quest? Dont they have one already or does this replace the current one?
Also, interesting that the proto wolf has a purple/night elven tint for the Alliance.
Another thread, but seems like Dark Iron have a rather a bland quest to get a mount (i.e. run here get this, run there get that)

Blood elves are by far the most popular race in the game, I think there are more blood elves than both human and night elves combined. So they will probably be getting lots of content.

I know they’re the most played race but that just seems like a really skewed use of resources. Blizzard should really focus on finishing everyone who hasn’t gotten theirs yet before making part 2s for existing ones.
I’m pretty sure humans are the second most played, and they don’t have heritage armor yet.

I just think the devs chose at random. Dark Irons are the ones getting extra content and I doubt they are that popular.
Oh yeah I agree, Draenei haven’t even got their heritage armor and they would be the blood elf counter part. I’m just saying that is why blizzard is pandering to blood elves so much because of the race being popular, meanwhile not many people comparatively play a lot of the other races so blizzard likes to forget about them.
Maybe it’s laying the groundwork for more to come in Northern EK, especially coupled with the rebuilding we’re seeing in Tirisfal. Maybe a fanservicey blood elf chain is their apology for giving all the race’s customization to the void elves. Or maybe they just threw content darts that happened to land on BEs and DIDs.
Personally I think they just wanted to remind us that the marauding Scourge are still relevant, and the Ghostlands, conveniently a Scourge-infested mess in the first place, made the most sense as a backdrop.

Redshirtguy kind of gave a list of what we’ve seen so far from the PTR:
-New Questline for blood elves only.
-New Hawkstrider mount and Blood Knight transmog set, presumably form said blood elf questline.
-Items implying a similar new questline for Dark Iron dwarves.
-New darkhound mount and set of Dark Iron dwarf themed transmog weapons, presumably for said Dark Iron questline.
-New map of Tirisfal Galdes with a reconstructed Brill. The map is attached to an encrypted questline and a new (also encrypted model for Calia Menethi.
-New silvery color for the cheetah travel form from 9.2.
-New area in Stormwind that’s just a random stable outside the stockades using kul tiras assets
-Orgrimmar guild vendor area removed and relocated to a different location in the Valley of Strenght
-New Stay Awhile and listen conversations between Taelia and Bovar, Jaina and Khadgar (Alliance Only), in Oribos.
-New HD skybox for Hillsbrad Foothills.

Uh and that is literally meaningless? There’s no information to gain from that. Night Elves are actually getting nothing again while forsaken are getting their zones repaired and revamped, meanwhile the Forsaken also have control of Darkshore in the game.

If there was Night Elf stuff, they would’ve found it just like all the other stuff, or atleast parts of it.
