Please fix our classes. More world quests that I don’t care about. Cool fish samurai. The art team trying to carry the gameplay design team. Meaningful content AND meaningful rewards?
If you don’t fix our classes in patch 8.3, expect to lose another customer until 9.0.
All I kept thinking was, “This took how long to create?”
Too bored to even go to mechagon. The formula is dead to me. The heart upgrade scenario was meh, the gameplay is tired, the dumb bodyguard crap is terrible just like it was in Legion. I guess I’m just over what this game has become.
I’m not going to lie. I’m not all that bothered by BfA but I will say; my best friend and I spend most of our time in older content anyways and not really touching up on BfA. I’ve done a few mythics, thought everything was okay what I did do but.
i want fun classes blizz please
You all knew this was EXACTLY the content that was going to be released, MONTHS ago. Why are we complaining? What exactly did you think was going to happen?
Thank goodness for Shadow bringers.
Just did the “intro” to Najatar on horde and then Alliance. The reported 415ilv weapon ended up in truth being 370ilvl. 8.2 is just more of the same old grind for lame rewards in content and design that is seriously amateur at best. Totally done with the steaming pile that is BFA.
We did? Sorry, I don’t ptr, I find it a waste of time to practice before content goes live, and they don’t act on feedback, that’s how we got BFA.
You didn’t need to do PTR. Patch notes where delivered, a video from Ion came out a week ago, and MMO-Champ/WoWhead and such have had the guides and what to expect for a long time now. There are sticky’s in the forums, and people have been making threads about it.
Again, what exactly was your expectation of a MID expansion patch?
I was giving WoW a chance because I love the game. I’m not enjoying the game I once loved so I came to the forums, voicing my displeasure, to maybe help the game become better. That’s what forums are for.
Yeah, I don’t think I can play the game anymore. I did the intro quests to Nazjatar and I see all these blue quests telling me to go do this and that, the world quests on the map. All these things I have to do in order to progress. And I just don’t care. I can’t be bothered to do all of this. I can’t do it anymore. Fifteen years, and I’m just done.
It’s not even just this game either. I don’t really care about Classic either, because that has all its own problems and I remember them because I played back then. I just don’t care anymore.
Video games were a mistake.
You’re right, I resubbed bc I expected Blizzard to WoW me like they used to 10 years ago. Shame on me.
Btw, who are you to put your expectations on what I hoped to experience? What I heard was this was BFAs make or break moment(again), it’s broke.
(For me, only my opinion).
At least there’s Classic to look forward to.
Left for FFXIV in January, bought a month yesterday via gold/token.
Unfortunately, there’s no fix yet for the sound editing feature that was broken by 8.2. so now I’ll have to listen to all the annoying sounds I removed / changed long ago.
Haven’t even logged on to live today.
Classes won’t be fixed until the next expansion. This is a middle child expansion.

So as I understand it (I didn’t play the PTR mind) Nazjatar was always going to be the more “traditional” zone. More of the same. I strongly urge you to try Mechagon before giving up entirely. That zone is what is meant to be the big change. A few examples to note:
-Trinket: Your trinket is customizable, you basically insert punchcards that will change what the trinket does, think Gems but more in depth.
-Set Rings: There are interchangeable set rings found in the dungeon which are incredibly unique. They come in two forms (you must have one of each type for the set to work.) The first is an “If” statement, which will determine what circumstance the set’s effect will proc under, while the second is a “then” statement which determines what that effect is. I don’t know specifically what the effects and conditions are, but this was an extremely creative form of gear customization.
If you’re wondering “Why is one zone boring and the other fun?” My guess is that Blizzard wasn’t sure how well Mechagon would land, and so they wanted to have Nazjatar be there as a more traditional zone if Mechagon flopped.
Either way, please give Mechagon a try before you quit. The zone itself has a lot of really interesting ideas that should be tried before abandoning the game. The hope is that if this zone succeeds, we will see more creative and unique design out of Blizzard.
You know, that was such a thoughtful reply, I will try it. I’m here for a month anyway. What a great community member, and I’m not being sarcastic or anything. WoW is fortunate to have you. Thanks for the info.
8.2 is a bit of liquid squirt on the steaming pile of BfA. If you expected anything different you were delusional.

That’s totally fair. 8.2 is not going to solve every problem in BfA for certain. I’ll be completely honest, if it hadn’t convinced my old friends to come back I might not have myself. With that being said, a lot of the main problems with BfA are things that just can’t be solved until next expansion (azerite armor, class balance, etc) and can really only be bandaided. There are a lot of changes that do seem to be based around player feedback. For example, players often mentioned how great the Timeless Isles were. In response, Blizzard has mentioned how much the Timeless Isles were part of the inspiration for Mechagon.
It doesn’t necessarily mean the game is fixed by any means, or that people should be coerced into coming back if it’s not enough for them. I do think, however, that if you do still have game time left, there’s no harm in trying Mechagon to see if there’s anything that will keep you.
I find it amusing that you have faith that the problems with the game can be fixed, at all, by the literal apes on staff. Players often mention a lot of things and how great they were, that doesn’t actually mean they were in fact great, and it often doesn’t mean Blizzard does anything about it.
They took the path of least resistance as they always do and did what was easiest and most convenient, for them, at the time. Which is to push out another locale in which to do the same repetitive BS that we have been for the entire expansion.
No thanks.
As the overall game play has been in less then desirable shape i think many were hoping for the type of major changes we see with new expansions.
Just have to wait and hope the next expansion can bring back the feel of a real RPG as well as have great new content.
You did the INTRO. How are you supposed to know?
