Mother said 77 cycles. Do the math. Cycles can be another word for days. Now look at the release date for 8.1.5 , 77 days later it lands on May the 28th which is a Tuesday as well.
Yeah, I thought that was a good T&E episode too!
The patch is coming out July 2nd.
The 77 cycle reference could be there to throw people off about 8.2. It could instead be an easter egg predicting when the next expansion releases.
For those of you bad at math that is October 6th 2020, a Tuesday which isn’t a bad estimate by my own account given that tiers are mostly 6 month cycles and we have at least 2.5 more tiers to navigate through during this expansion alone plus the typical last tier drought.
They might have just been making a meme about their usual release schedule.
Good to know that is when Beta for Azerite will be ending and we can finally get the live game.
The 77 day thing was true for basically all of Legion, but hasn’t even come close to holding true for BFA.
same day FF14 releases Shadow Bringers…hate to say it but right now FF14 kicks WoW butt…but I will say a big TY to blizzard for slowing down the combat with GCD so it made so much like FF14 so it was easy to switch over
But FF14 kind a sucks.
Yeah I wonder if they realize that is what they did with that GCD change? One of the big complaints of FF14 is it sometimes felt slow.
Maybe if was on PTR already… Doubt it will be released 77 days. None of the patches in 8.X have held to a 77 day cycle.
Yeah at this rate 8.2 will be closer to June or July if it does not get PTR testing soon.
Not out of the question but doubt that will happen. The new 3 boss raid doesn’t come out until April. I would say more around July.
FF14 has the better combat system than WoW now. If they reverted a lot of the GCD shenanigans it would actually put WoW back on top IMO.
I doubt it will be that soon. It isn’t even on the PTR yet (I expect that to change this weekend). Make it closer to end of June / July and you’d be closer.
June/July is the earliest you will see it but then again we could be surprised with a May release.
