Please just get rid of Azerite armor and Artifact power in 8.1. It won't be missed. you can just hotfix it and just release regular necklaces. If you can take back a 355 weapon and scale it down to 155 to transmog you can surely change necks and just get rid of azerite all together.

They like the idea of artifacts and AP so it probably won't go away for a while. It was grindy but fine in Legion. This new thing is just dumb and poorly implemented.

I still like the general concept, but yes, I'm really hoping we get an overhaul of the mechanics soon.

I haven't spoken to one person that actually likes the system (and could give me a legitimate, reasonable reason why)
Coming from artifact weapons, Azerite gear feels terrible.
They basically gave everyone 9 proc trinkets. They weren't able to balance just 2...
It's legit like a slot machine. Like one of those ones where they have all that !@#$ going on up on the screen. But it's really just stealing your money. You don't actually control any of it. And everything is just RNG now...
Blizzard, in patch 26.0 once I'm retired, I'll be ready for this casino style system. But I'm only 30... I want a game with structure, where I know what my rewards are, and what I have to do to get them.

First they turn off all traits on it, then maybe you get a 266 weapon to drop
Then you can maybe buy a 300 or 310 weapon
if RNGebut favors you you might get a heroic or mythic or raid weapon eventually, maybe
They could at least put more haste, mastery and crit secondarys on the 3 azerite slots automatically or something.

The artifact weapons at the opening of the first raid in legion sucked. You had like one golden trait unlocked (unless you were spamming Maw for hours). Assuming you remembered to click the artifact knowledge research notes when you picked them up. And a non utility legendary.

Maybe im in the minority but i liked the old way of getting gear before artifact, azerite. Where u could get drops of all ur gear and not have one piece places on a power up system.

I liked Artifact weapons because you could change specs and your weapons would change with them. It's easier to say "Sorry, my DPS is trash because I accidentally disenchanted my necklace" than "Sorry, my DPS is trash because I accidentally scrapped my off-hand for Frost, so I have to learn Unholy on the fly."

Are you effing kidding? Seriously? Get rid of a MAJOR part of the expansion mid expansion? This is the dumbest thing I've seen anyone complain about on the forums!
If you don't like Azerite armor, don't play, skip the expansion and hope they don't do it again. Otherwise get used to it; this is what you're working with this expansion.

Hi I like the system and see the benefits. You have now spoken to one person that likes it.
All I want is for them to remove war/titanforging, drop the gimmicks, and give us regular armor and weapons. And bring back secondary stat reforging.

You have to have a WoD 2.0 to make a 3.0. Legion wasn't that cause it had *gasp* Content. And BfA isn't it either because it also has *le gasp* content.
Just cause you want the game to return to the 'good' old days of vanilla doesn't mean it will happen or that the game is objectively bad, chum.
