Great changes, or at least interesting changes for Disc and Holy. I at least appreciate the attempt to diversify the kits.
But what about the humble shadow priest? Not one single mention. I think i may be develop9ng a complex.

There is a reason why I raid log.
And it’s not even on my priest.
Shadow has one of, if not, the worst designed tree in the game and not a single change for PvE or PvP. About what I’ve come to expect.
Not even going to sugar coat it with my wording, but it is a f’ing joke that there are no changes to spriest for pvp that either improve mobility, reduce our casting requirements or diversify our shadow school so we aren’t locked down by every kick, stun, knock, fart in the game.
Thrilled to see holy changes, but yes, hoping more changes to come for shadow (and for our shared class tree!)
Redesign inc.
I suspect Shadow’s revamp is coming along with whatever is being done to address the interrupt situation for healer Priests.
Just checked: notice also there isn’t a feedback thread for Priests. It’s probably coming in a build or two.
Hopefully they plan on bringing their axe to cut down some of those dead branches in the class tree. I was also thinking they would need to address shadow “utility” in the spec tree in the same build they’d rework our class tree.
I hope we get a treatment similar to what monk had in beta. They went from a bad class tree to a great one while moving some stuff around all 4 trees where it made sense. I see similar design patterns in the change of the healer trees right now so let’s cross fingers that this is the first iteration of a good rework for our class!
Weeeeeeeeeeeee. Meanwhile… okay time for free games.
Are we sure the blizzard post is the exhaustive, final draft list?
This is a good point. There seems to be some additional changes that have been data mined that weren’t mentioned, so there might be more. However, it does seem a bit tone deaf to the few left out not to mention that there is more to come.
Holy changes are not even addressing the issues so far idk what you’re smoking.
Lots of PvP changes across many classes.
There was like nothing or barely any for Shadow.
I assume this is because they are still making changes to Shadow and as such, no reason to make PvP change announcements when the spec might be getting meaningful changes.
Or we are just left on read again
World of Hopecraft
Shadow feels baaad. I can’t seem to get it. It feels clunky. I can’t seem to break 900k DPS in raid at 634 item level.
After hearing about the Holy changes I was hoping that there would be some major changes to Shadow and that I could try doing DPS for one season.
Retail wow is cooked.
All they had to do was remove shadow crash and in its Place add a New Talent: Shadows Metastasize - Shadow Word: Pain and Vampiric touch now spread like a disease to all enemies within ten yards of the afflicted target spreads up to 8 targets.
Boom Done your welcome Blizzard go ahead and copy and paste this and no shadow priest will ever complain again.
This is not even remotely close to all Shadow needs. There are much more glaring issues going on with the spec than its aoe, which is also an issue.
Shadow is completely serviceable, but takk about damning with faint praise. I am a cimplete scrub, but i hit Siren Island with my priest first, because i always do new content with him first. It was fine, no issues, i grind out the damned torrential fragments, get my bird and decide to bring my destro warlock over, who is slightly less geared.
And it was horrifying how much easier everything was. Really. It is not that shadowpriests are bad per se, but ither classes are so much more efficient.
