Patch 10.2.6

The 2024 timeline blizzard put out has 10.2.7 as the last patch this expansion, and suggests S4 will start at the tail end of this pirate event.

No timeline specified on how long this event is supposed to last but it seems like a matter of weeks, not months.

Glad I taught you something new.

Not sure where you read that, but it’s specifically written that 10.3 Is arriving in Spring.

Go on WoW’s official instagram. The graphic is there.

I’m very confused on how you’re upset at me because 10.2.7 is the last patch and there won’t be a 10.3

60 player battle royale confirmed, might be fun

Yeah I just noticed it. Unusual to release a season on 2.7 patch and not 3.0. Will see when it actually comes and what the numbering will be.

Nah I was just thinking you are trolling like usually, saying 1.2.6 is new season (which isn’t).
Looking at what Birthdayboy posted neither was I, but it still surprises me why would they release a full season on .something patch and not 10.3 like usually.
It wouldn’t surprise me if blizzard f-ed up like usually.

Even though you’re accusing me of trolling (I’m not), it was the same thing in Shadowlands. It might be surprising, but it’s not new.

Surprised.

Don’t remember since wasn’t really participating in fated that much, re-heated pvp rewards were just boring.
Guess we’ll see next month what they are cooking when 10.2.7 arrives.

I skipped SL S4. Why is no cap a problem?

This event actually looks really cool

It’s hard to say. People having the ability to no life and gear before everyone else might have been bad for the ladder. There were several other problems and they all sort of amplified each other though, so maybe in different circumstances it could have worked.

Id be happy with 1-2! Like a pvp and pve recolor!

Idk man, i have no problem with people spending their time doing that if they want to. Everyone will be on the same footing eventually.

I don’t believe they limit PVE content in the same way. I could be mistaken though.

Neither do I, but having people be able to gear within a few hours of a new season deter people who aren’t caught up in gear. And as I mentioned earlier that combined with the other issues in that season made it extremely dead.

I doubt they’ll be doing it again though.

I think the lack of balancing is more of a deterrent than anything. I assume people would understand that there is honor gear that’s close to conquest and with time combined with the multitude of ways to earn conquest you’d be caught up in no time.

There’s a lot of variables to be honest and I’m not sure how they all work together to create a cohesive argument that would prove my point without putting a lot of work into it. It’s just easier to say they’ll probably never do it again.

They’re doing a rework on priest, maybe our class or resto/boomy tree will finally get some changes too!

I saw this and im hopeful but also died a little inside that the druid class tree is still poo haha

Agree to disagree i guess. I’d just assume with infinite conquest people would queue even more. There’s always a tangible goal (gear) to work toward. The people who genuinely enjoy PVP are going to queue regardless of rewards.

The main reason is that people who don’t have as much time to play will queue into someone in full gear on the first day and lose motivation. This loss of motivation snowballs into a bigger problem on a grand scale.
