Bliz should really consider releasing patch 10.2.5 before the holiday season starts. I know that normally, they would want to wait because of people traveling, but with the current economy, I think more people are going to stay in place this year. I believe that with the ability so “solo” Dragonflight dungeons, people would take advantage of their vacation time to run dungeons and complete quests that they were previously not able to do.
Just sayin’.
Either way have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
If a release date were to be announced this week, the earliest it would be out would be boxing day (12/26). Needless to say, that’s not happening, so patch is early next year.
The PTR is very unstable and full of bugs. What was seen there was very clearly unfinished. I estimate the next patch will be released no earlier than February, if not March.
If it’s still broken, then yeah, I agree it needs to bake a little longer. I haven’t tested the ptr due to lack of storage. Ty for for pointing that out.
You could solo them as a ret pally at least since last patch.
Even the new dungeons, though you had to put in a bit of effort to survive, but with the higher ilvls i think most classes/specs can in this patch.
FYI as a ret pally i regularly use the Call to Arms LFG to get the bags(has 1 to 4 runes + 900~g, so about 2-5k gold earned per run) and queue as any role needed, you also receive 15% dmg/healing/HP, so it’s even easier and faster.
