Its based on the same kind of logic yours is - see how shaky it is?
Also - not attacking you, pointing out the flaws in your reasoning.

LOL, nobody is attacking you. If you donât like Classic que times or if Classic ends up being non cross realm, then donât play Classic. BFA has all that kind of stuff. Good luck to you.
actually banjaa is
and i wont have to play bfa when we get crbgs
I think anyone who reads your post will have no difficulty determining what type of mindset you have.
I want to thank you for for letting those who desire a truer classic experience know at least one person to avoid inviting to their guild.
This means you are attacking Banjaa as much as he/she is attacking you⌠this is a simple debate, like all forums go. Donât play victimâŚ
For a lot of us, CBGâs had both community AND faster ques. Best of both worlds.
When it was cross realm bgâs ONLY, at the launch of 1.12, yes there was still a community of people from the same server. But⌠After that, Battleground/PVP community was over, along with PVP guilds, which had a huge impact on communities. And⌠it turned into a snowball effect, and everything else became cross realm groups, servers, LFR, etc⌠then entire server communities were over. I think that happened at around 4.2-4.3, just past WOTLK⌠sub drop.
I literally never even wrote that. . .
Way to quote me and then proceed to write whatever you wanted to fit your narrative with my name on it.
You sir, are a scumbag.
Blizzard doesnât want to have to worry about the game. So it will hve crbgs on launch to avoid having to add it later.
Having actually played the game prior to xrealm BGs, Iâd say not having xrealm BGs would be a huge mistake the majority of players would complain about and regret.
Prior to xrealm BGs existing, BG queue times would at times be MULTIPLE HOURS on some servers. We use to have people ditch dungeons mid dungeon because theyâd been in a BG queue for over an hour and were trying to grind rank. There was no group finder or summoning stones to easily replace these people mid run.
If I remember correctly, the initial implementation wasnât universal. IE: there were âBattlegroups.â These battlegroups were formed to try to give better queue times while still leaving a sense of community because the player pool for your battlegroup wasnât the entire playerbase of the region as it currently is. A battlegroup consisted of a set of servers that they chose based on their various faction populations. There use to be battlegroup forums.
Most of you who are complaining about how long it took to get into a BG seem to have forgotten that you werenât sitting around doing nothing. And if you did, thatâs on you. BTW, thatâs just not true (unless my server was exceptionally different from everyone elseâs).
I remember what I did, and also remember what my guild mates and other players did, and that was being out in the world killing animals so you could feed your pet (hunters); getting shards (lock), etc.
I also remember a lot of us, including me, questing while waiting for the queue to pop. And that was ok because when the BG ended, the game put you back where you came from.
Of course, 14 years later, a lot of players are in a big hurry to get from A to B and the though of having nothing to do for 30 or 40 minutes must be alien to you. Even now I wonder why a lot of you are playing this game, itâs like everything is a rush to the next point.
If you are one of these players who canât relax and do something different while waiting, youâre not going to like Classic. Thereâs no rush - believe me.
Good luck.

You had to queue at the BG entrance at first. Traveling around the world was slow. Itâs not like you were going to queue from the BG UI and be able to get right to mining X or whatever it is you want to do while youâre in queue.
I remember the AV entrance in early Vanilla. There were dozens of people just hanging out outside the entrance. Sometimes thereâd be World PvP in the mountains while people waited. It was a hellish area to be in for low levels because there were so many 60s around waiting in a BG queue.
The entrances were in lowbie zones.

What isnât true? People absolutely waited over an hour to get into AV at times on my server if thatâs what you were responding to.

Yes, originally the servers were organized into Battlegroups with other servers. So you were still seeing the same people, but the pool was much larger.
