Passing Guild Leader

Does anyone know how to pass guild leader? We just had the first person who could get in Monday and get the money together create the guild. Now we can’t pass the leader to anyone else lol. All help is appreciated.

The current GM has to promote someone else to the rank.

Its easy… press “O” and go to Guild.
There should be a section showing Ranks.
Have the current GM click on the up arrow all the way up. That will replace him.

Nope won’t let you rank anyone past you

type /gleader charactername

Where charactername is the name of the character you’re transferring to.

They must be online and a member of the guild.

My guild did this last night.

We just did it 2 days ago when I wasn’t 10 yet.
One of my officers did it. There’s an option there somewhere.

I just did this guys! it requires you to make a macro.

/gleader character name

if you try to just type the command in the chat box it will just put the persons name in chat instead of passing lead.

Works just fine without a macro.

Thanks for posting. Character does not have to be online btw.

I think the macro requirement is only if you’re using Chat mods.
It wouldn’t work for me without a macro, but my bud who doesn’t use addons didn’t need the macro. Slash command worked for him.

Thank you! I had two addons get triggered by this (decursive and prat) and had to disable both before it worked.

The Suggestion that said to use the SLASH Command ( /gleader Name of New GM ) actually works. None of the other methods work. I tried them all, before I tried the SLASH Command. Only the SLASH Command worked.
