Lvl 113 questing in Wetlands with a lvl 47. Things are going great… except the Salvaged Cache of Goods my 113 alt is promised for every quest, is only occasionally actually rewarded. There is no extra gold logged in chat (so no case of container automatically opening and becoming a gold reward).
Example of quest with this problem (in case it’s not random, but specific to some quests): I’ll Call Him Bitey.
Anyone else have this problem?
I googled looking for help on this because like 10 quests I’ve done say they’re giving me one, but don’t actually give me one. I’m quite confused!
*Edit: I read the text carefully and it say it “may reward” the cache. So it’s something you might get… or might not. Similar to how the PvP boxes work. So I think this is working as intended, even if it seems a bit awkward 
Yeah… I eventually noticed the ‘fine print’ too.
I still think it’s a bad precedent.
Up to now, if you have a quest, the rewards were 100% going to be given. So you can quickly scan the quest pop up and see that:
As far as I know, this is the first type of quest where you may or may not get the reward shown. Not to mention there is also azerite given as reward that’s not mentioned anywhere in the quest.
I think the Salvaged Cached should have also been a ‘surprise’ reward, not showing in the quest but automatically put in your bags if RNG is in your favor.
