literally just came from a 10-19 bracket were a dk soloed our entire team, who thought this was a good idea?
People will always find some sort of advantage. Hopefully, that will change with SL. I think DKs, and DHs, start at lvl 10 or so. Right now, you got all the toys and stuff that goes along with a high lvl character, even though it is scaled to lower lvl.
We’re you all just ignoring it’s healers? Scaled 120s down to these levels are not difficult.
Your team could not handle a gimped DK? Party sync gives a very shoddy template with horrible secondary stats to any bracket below 111 for syncers. If one DK was too overpowered… just wait until you get the f2p twinks in the 20 -29 bracket all rolling resto/balance druid, mm hunter or arc mage.
The nerf that 120s get makes them borderline useless in the lowest brackets (19s and 20s). They have less stats than a first entry character.
If you’re team got wiped by that you might have had a naked team or you were not watching the hunters and arcane mages.
OP, in your bracket the scaling is way off. 120’s are scaled down to an ilvl that nobody actually in that bracket could have. They have twice the hp of typical players in that bracket. I did a bg on a level 119 a month ago who only needed a quarter of a level of xp. She got one bar. An untouchable premade just mowed them down. The bracket is wrecked.
he said 10-19. mages hunters and resto shams own that bracket. dh can move good in 10-19 thats its only advantage.
What is the deal with people getting owned by sync in low brackets? It’s a joke. The scaling is terribad. They hit like wet noodles. The only way a DK is going to run amok in this bracket is with pocket healers not getting controlled/killed.
Actually, enchants traits corruptions and essences are in fact disabled. Their only advantage is that they have skillset of lvl 60 while everyone else got lvl 20
The question is, do Traits work on 120s who Sync into the 111-119 Bracket?
Stacking 3 3 1, 2 2 2 etc. perfect Traits would be an advantage…correct?
Combined with a Higher HP Template and the mandatory “Premade” to actually Sync is an advantage.
Do not forget the ability to Queue with a Strong composition (every time) at will is a clear advantage.
Two Synced 120s as Healers, Two Synced Meta 120 DPS and one Jabroni (Leveler) for Queue purposes should help winrates…
Pre max lvl bracket has always been hell and it should be avoided at all cost
Nah man, the low level BG’s are for leveling. Come on in, the water is fine.
Its less that he did a ton of damage, its more that while scaled down, his health pool was still significantly higher than our highest in the match, and most of us, including me, were enchanted and such. he was just unkillable
At best, the most he could have done is wear gear from that level. Or just scale higher gear down, but the HP pool is flat. Maybe he was protection spec, or whatever it’s called on a demon hunter.
No they don’t. They have a skillset of a 20.
DK and DH have half their skills available if that.
Well they still have more than most at 20. Such as a kick and mobility. Stronger toolkit, weaker stats.
Their half missing toolkit does not help them against the strongest in bracket.
Hunters mages resto sham resto druid floor them constantly.
dk is best to sync with into low level bg’s. runeforging substitutes as a weapon enchant.
Yes, in a 1v1 scenario their lack of general strength or fully fleshed out toolkit will put them at the mercy of whatever drooling fotm monkey so much as glances in their direction. But, if they work as a team they can use their above average toolkit in ways not available to other classes in that bracket.
DK and DH in lower levels are a chance at an early “That takes class” Achievement pre 20.
The toolkit surpasses the strength in the lower brackets for sure, which is good practice for Shadowlands IMO.
