It’s all in the title. If I’ve learned anything from classic it’s how much I’ve missed being involved with friends and random people I meet. In retail there have been many great additions over the years. My wife and I long ago initially played together but i wanted to progress faster. She fell behind and stopped playing.
Now we get to quest together.
Always.
And it always matters to us both. Thanks blizzard, well done.

I agree with you. That feature alone deserves all the praise. Not everyone feel like always doing new characters. It’s very convenient and gives a lot of freedom.

This feature is a trash pile compared to what it should have been.
It is nice but I do wish they’d let us scale down on our own just to experience the old worlds more as they should be.
I’d like to do some endgame from Wrath or Cata just for fun. Even group up and do some of the HC dungeons and raids that aren’t covered by TW.

With the template it gives the “syncee” and the pathetic secondary stat allocation you would have a rough time doing raids.
I think the idea was to encourage more activity with others and less loner. From my perspective that’s huge. It’s an excellent feature imo.

It was lazy coding though. It should be done by a level basis not just a flat “disabled while synced”. Instead of a timewalking 2.0 its a nerfwalking 1.0, feelsbadman.

If you’re the higher lvl, do you still gain exp on your chars?
For instance, if I had a 110, would I gain exp by lvling with a lvl 20 buddy?
Wouldnt be surprised if they adjust it. They usually tweek new features. Good starting place though. imo

Tweak new features? Ah the whole point of a PTR, which is just left to rot.
Exactly and get rewards that are relevant to your current level

Where can you find people looking to party sync? I didn’t any anything in the premade browser. Does it work with dungeons too?
Ah, well then that’s pretty cool

Instead of the world scaling to us, we scale to the world.
Like scaling, it has benefits, but it also gives the world a very bland and lifeless feeling by homogenizing every encounter.
I agree but with the party sync, I could lvl my characters with my buddy since my lowest lvl toon is one at 100 and the others are at 110. Lvling with friends is far more fun than lvling alone.

Check it out. And yes on the dungeons. Pretty rad imo.

There’s nothing lazy about it.
All abilities you can’t use at 60 or below are disabled. It makes sense, because the game 1-60 is not designed around later skills.

Not talking about abilities, that much was obviously going to be level restricted. Talking about the blanket disable they did to ALL GEAR. The template is completely out of whack. Your stats do not change even if you remove all your gear.
How do you explain Demon Hunter shenanigans if thats the case? On my 115 DH when I synced with a level 20 (I was scaled down to 60), yet I still had access to most of my abilities.
