You speak to Theotar and obtain The Mad Duke’s Tea, which gives you a random buff out of a pool of 4. I’m honestly fine with the RNG nature of the buff. The big issue is switching soul binds.
If you switch off Theotar you keep the tea in your bags, but you lose the buff (naturally). However when you switch back to Theotar the tea remains on whatever CD that you last used it, making it useless until the CD is back up.
A welcome change would be to make it so if you switch back to Theotar you regain the buff you last had (same duration, same buff). That way if you swap to a different soulbind you don’t completely screw yourself if you need to go back to Theotar.
Conduit energy already makes it punishing enough to try to play multi specs+content types. This is just another slap in the face.

Also I’m still mad the “free transmog costs” trait Theotar was originally shown with was taken out
Just did a Timewalking, and lo and behold I enter and lose the buff. But wait! The tea still has 30 mins left on the cd so I have to stare at the weak aura I have that alerts me when I don’t have the buff the whole run. And now I’m out of the TWing and have to wait to reapply the buff.
AWESOME.
Something else I feel is an oversight with this ability -
You can drink the tea while dead. Since you’re dead the buff isn’t applied but you go on your 1 hour CD. I know I won’t be doing that again but it still seems like something that should be fixed.
This one is unverified as I haven’t tried it my self but I’ve also read you can drink the tea while soulbound to Nadjia or Draven. Again wasting your CD.
It seems it should only be drinkable when it will apply the buff.

yeah this issue is actually ridiculous, literally makes no sense to make it have a cooldown for this long… wtf is the point. I mainly just PvP in Arena, I choose my soulbindings base on who I vs in arena. Having it disappear when I swap soulbinds is infuriating because if I want to swap back for next game, the on cooldown and my last tier soulbind is completely just useless and more rather there isn’t any point of swapping back to the soulbind until the cooldown of the tea is up. literally horrid idea whoever created this.

I suggest putting this on the bug report forums.
Such as timewalking removing theotar’s buff. And including the suggestion to lower its cd. To be more reasonable with the conduit energy and the nature of queing content.
I purposefully avoid theotare for that nature of his kit. The buff is annoying to reapply for little reason.
Emphasize that it is broken and needs fixing.
