Title really sells it. Logged into a toon to finish them off before P2. Got 3 boxes. neat. Went to turn them in because they’re all for over-priced materials, and my toon can’t afford spending 1/4 of my gold on these 3 boxes, so why not just get the low rep/silver and move on.
Oops. Can’t do that. That would be too easy, so now they sell for 1 silver and no rep to a vendor unless you want to completely fill them.

The supply crate rug pull is real bad. People spent lots of gold. Prep in MMOs is a thing, and there is a finite amount of these boxes you can carry, so it’s not some over the top exploit. There’s no reason to think they’d do this. Of course get rid of mail recovery exploits for marks, but this is over the top for no warning. At least Aggrend “sort of” took some accountability. Ish?

nah, the boxes drop as partially filled. The “lore” is that you’re finishing the order that’s already been partially filled.
They to incentivize filling the boxes using a profession instead of just turning in unfilled boxes until you have enough rep. That was the original intent behind limiting you to carry one unfilled box at a time.
Oh I get it. I thought you meant put in 3 silver bars instead of 6 lol.
I guess the bright side is professions can make more money if boxes are forced to be completed.
The supply crates are my favorite part of SoD. Glad they’re expanding them.

Is that why I got no rep for just turning in a Waylaid Supply Crate because it wanted 20 copper bars and copper bars were going for like 2s a pop.

So I just went to hand in some supplies and can’t anymore? I have 3 unfilled boxes in my inventory but going to the supply officer they don’t have the hand-in quest anymore. Do they only accept filled boxes now? That’s ridiculous
Ya this made me so sad.
What was once a happy turn-in if you couldn’t afford to fill the crate, is now an expensive ordeal. I have 4-5 crates in my bank just collecting dust because I’m poor.
