Casters are doing 50-60% of melee dps in ST is hilarious to me. I LOVE when these devs actually get paid to create such a balanced outcome. Let’s spend 1k g on getting 2 professions up, and get BiS to do half of melee’s damage. Show me how this was the case in P2 again ? LOL. Pathetic.
Where was this cry for Warriors last phase?

Same warriors sitting 10-15% away from top casters at 95th percentile ? That’s what you mean ?
They should buff all casters damage so we can see a flood of tears over WPvP
I think there are ways of buffing let’s say SPs without breaking WPVP. For example, shift power from VP to mind spike, increase its damage and cast time and make SP play around 3 stacks of MS for guaranteed MB crit. But drastically increase the damage of CASTED spells.

I mean … you realize that with MORE gear the canyon gap between melee and casters are going to widen in P3 right ? Casters don’t scale for dog with gear.

do you know why melee’s get stronger and stronger as time goes by? its simple:
str=1+ or +2 AP
agi=1/2 (or 2 in some cases) + crit chance
int: +crit chance.
there’s no spell power for intellect users, so casters fall behind in damage at higher levels. Warriors and rogues scales waaay too much with main stats while casters get a slim to none crit chance.
Yeah, the epic dagger from ST is +1 SPELL POWER, yes +1, upgrade from the one in Gnomer. Like honestly, these devs are getting paid for this loot BTW.
Why is that an issue? This isn’t retail where all gear from a previous tier is invalid. It keeps old content relevant.
Casters were trash in P1. Some melee specs were mediocre last phase (rogue, cat) but some were good (hunter, warrior). Also, melee wasn’t top last phase because of high boss armor, which I guess isn’t a thing this phase. Melee also gets way better raid buffs compared to casters.
Just evident that the SoD team really doesn’t spend a lot of time on class balancing. Other classes should have been buffed last phase and didn’t happen. Casters only got “buffed” by nerfing one boss resistance P1.
I feel like having a crippling drug addiction would be better than caring about DPS in a SoD raid, ya’ll are nuts

Good warriors were topping the logs last phase. I repeat “good”, perhaps you just weren’t.

Good in this context means:
-Get wild strikes
-Get World Buffs
-Get a Spriest
-Full consumes
Don’t kid yourselves into thinking spamming the 3 buttons and swapping for an overpower now and again makes anyone “good”
You don’t know what makes a top parse buddy.
