Your skill has a tiny affect on your actual damage.
Gear gives you the stats needed, skill gives you the ability to use those stats.
You don’t need skill when rotations are as easy as they are in Classic.
All you need is gear and consumes.
That is why people like you only play classic wow because if you get gear and consumes you are automatically better than 90% of players.
AKA it makes you feel good when you aren’t good.
So the #1 ranked rogue in pve has the same skill as the #40,861 ranked rogue?
Their skill gap isn’t very big. It’s probably their gear, consumes, buffs, and their raid that make the difference more than anything.
