"Papers Please"

Rommath gives a WQ entitled “papers please” where you’re asked to do one of those camera runs photographing “newcomers” – he wants them to have “no secrets”.

Sadly typical of Silvermoon, and of Rommath.

People who lost 90% of their population, had their capital burned to the ground, and lost, for a time, their most sacred cultural landmark to corruption, are suspicious of being occupied by a faction they’ve been at war with for the past 20 years?

Say it ain’t so.

Where does this 20 years start and end? I’m asking because that sounds like the lifetime of WoW, and the two factions haven’t been ‘at war’ for several years now in WoW’s story.

I’m sure he’ll have you checking their social media posts soon to see if they were mean to Rommath.

I mean silver Moon created an open-air prison for all the trolls, and keep launching attacks inside that open-air prison…

Not like there’s any modern day analogs of that or anything.

“Champion, ‘we’ need you to place these pylons that will monitor magical communications for suspicious words and images coming in and out of Silvermoon. It is, um, vital to our security, yes, that’s it.”

“Where is passport?”

“Here it is.”

“This entry permit is a forgery.”

“I don’t know what to say.”

“One moment please…”

LOUD DETAINMENT ALERT NOISE!

“OUT!”

It’s an interesting choice to hire me to do this job.

Nevermind that actual cultists are literally infiltrating the city and the population definitely does need to be monitored, and monitored closely.

Damn you, Rommath!

Wasn’t there a scene in TBC era Silvermoon where anti-Horde dissenters were brainwashed into reversing their stance and praising the regime?

Distopia is the baseline in Silvermoon. Lothraxion did nothing wrong.

What does Lothraxian have to do with this?

Completely off topic.

Spying for the Man.

You will still be flagged immediately for entering an exclusive opposite-faction zone. You can be in a cold or lukewarm war even when your leaders are officially keeping up appearances for peace.

No you don’t understand, the trolls are making spears in those tunnels

Lmao post got removed because apparently someone got offended that it joked about two dudes having natural human interactions…

Anyway, let me slap Rommath for being the worst NPC currently in the game that isn’t actively trying to kill us

Did we all forget that the literal first chapter of the campaign is about the twilight’s blade cult infiltrating local government and overthrowing a town?

Seems pretty reasonable to not want that to happen again.

Irony being, it seems to have started with the leaders of the town, the same people who’d have the most access to a surveillance system…
