Koalas do this too and they’re not even cute. They look demonic. I’m convinced that anyone who looks at a koala and sees something cute, has had the wool pulled over their eyes where I see the real thing that is actually there, which is a demon.

Yeah this is actually real and I just don’t even. Yes it is square. Proof that the world is a simulation and when it came down to the last outlier animals in Australia, shaping their poop into a poop shape just cost too much design resources and they left it as pixels.

Also I think that because the Mogu were a created race, and lorded over the Pandaren, it actually made the Pandaren ashamed to have evolved from animals.
My head canon is that scientists of both races during Mogu rule started hypothesising about it, it became political, like some Mogu were saying oh see they’re inferior, we’re created perfect and they’re just animals that didn’t roll in enough mud for long enough, and in response, the Pandaren slaughtered every wild bear on their continent to try to prove it wasn’t true.
Much like angler fish use lures for prey, bears use the cuddle factor. Far more devious.
Do not be fooled; they stay plotting.
Fun fact: bears will start to eat you while you are still alive. They just stand on you and start ripping parts off to eat. Cats at least have the courtesy to crush your throat first lol.
