The pandaria zones was the first step for modernizing the games look in terms of its environment.

…Alright? Is that good or bad? You can say a lot of things about WoW but it looking bad isn’t one of them.
Even Shadowlands and WoD, as much of a dumpster fire those expansions were, had gorgeous zones.
As someone whos replaying all of mop right now i still think they are the most beautiful zones in the game and a nice way to cut up seeing all the zones and enjoying the story

If I had to guess I assume this is about classic MOP and how the game is no longer classic at this point.
I think if we were gonna draw the line anywhere visually it would be WoD, considering that is when models got the update that we still use to this day.
Old world zones should be brought up to BfA standards so far as trees and skyboxes go. It wouldn’t be a huge task.
