I put a ticket in two days ago and got a response to try several steps. None of those fixed the problem so I reopened the ticket and provided some more details about where the character (an NPC) is stuck and how that is preventing the quest from resolving.
After 12 hours, the ticket says I should expect it to be resolved in 19 days and 14 hours.
Is that correct?
I have a character I am completely unable to proceed with, and I can’t expect any response for almost 20 days?!?
The NPC literally just needs to be pulled up out of the ground.
Just as a by the by, this is an estimate given that is calculated by the oldest ticket in the system. While I do hope that Nok is correct and it is perhaps fixed with Tuesday’s maintenance, the realistic ticket response time is 6-8ish days right now. Trust when I say that it is as frustrating to the staff trying to get the time whittled down as it is for the players caught up in the backlog.
Which quest is it specifically that you’re on, if I may ask?
It was not fixed by the Tuesday reset. Amusingly enough, the race and gender of the Horde Druid changed but the location did not (still stuck in the ground). And because the new NPC was a Troll female instead of a Tauren male, they were almost impossible to see.
I ended up spending about five hours trying and trying to get this quest to resolve but I could never get more than 11 of 12 of the healers to the wound.
As of yesterday morning, no one had still responded to the ticket. It grew to a 28 day response time estimate. But when I logged in yesterday afternoon, the number of healers was currently 8 of 12 and it just marked itself as complete a few minutes after I logged in. Still no response from support. The Druid was still in the ground and the conditions were not met but I was happy to get off the turtle island.
I still think the quest is broken (at least on my server).
I think it has escaped attention because I am sure most people choose the other starting zone option. I just wanted to see the original Pandaren one again.
One big issue is that you’re posting what is a bug here. Customer Support is a forum for players to assist other players, with our SFAs popping in when and where they can. And they are the only staff that comes to this particular forum.
Bugs, unfortunately, are only handled by the Devs. Devs do not answer tickets. The GMs who do answer tickets have a very, very limited tool kit when it comes to issues like these, even without the massive ticket queue they’ve got right now. But if you really want the proper staff to see this issue, even though you’ve moved beyond it, you’ll want to create a post over on the Bug Reports forum so the proper staff can see it.
