What kind of pet or pets should I be using for pve and dungeons. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
depends on what level your toon is. A ferocity pet should be fine, they are staying fairly tanky so far. Petopia is a very helpful website. A scalehide may be helpful if you find your pet dying. There are some spirit beasts but those are going to be very challenging since most of them are ‘trick tames’ .

Same as retail so basically any ferocity pet of your choosing but maybe if your group already has a BL you can bust out a Ferocity pet for a stronger defensive.
But the pet family choice doesn’t matter.
I thought this thread was going to be about the scaling of pets in remix. I’ve been using ferocity, like I do in retail, and they are getting smoked in remix. In retail I can pull groups of elites without the pet dying, but pulling 2 or 3 will nearly kill it in remix.

running some leech definitely helps, but yeah… i think there’re more abilities than normal which don’t respect pet damage-taken reduction
things attacking me rather than the pet has become a big part of my pet’s survival strategy
I just hit 60 on my hunter I am running Lonewolf while leveling. I did mess around with Survival for a few levels. Any pet will be fine for leveling.
