I am bad at lore and history of WoW. But I do know that the pandaren were at war with the Zandalari. So. My question. How come I am not killed on sight by the pandaren natives and npcs as a zandalari??? Help appreciated!!!
Because you or some other zandalari troll would be here complaining that they can’t level up in pandaria ??
Also maybe because while expansion stay opens time does move forward , pretty sure they know that you guys joined the horde in BFA or something like that .
And No there isnt any in-game explanation for this (thank god because it would probably be awful)

That was a long time ago. Their wars took place before the War of the Ancients; they’re essentially myths at this point.
If you go into Pandaria as a Darkspear, Lorewalker Cho comments on it. He says something along the lines of “As I live and breathe, a real live Troll. You look just like the stories say.”

Same reason that you can be exalted with the Zandalar tribe of vanilla STV, yet not get any of the rewards from exalted Zandalari reputation. Different eras have different circumstances, and while Blizz might alter the story in novels or current content, they very rarely bother catching up older versions.
Lorewise your character never went to pandaria during the events of MoP, and when you are leveling through that xpac you are technically going back in time to the events that happened then. This is all just glossed over for gameplay reasons.

Probably something like this. If they were really inclined, they could give some sort of nod to your comparably impressive stature/posture, but other than that…?

I haven’t gotten my Zandalari there yet but so far all of the Horde ARs I’ve leveled through Pandaria get that for the quest where you see their ancestors.
I figured.
Yeah, it would be neat to see him go into the rest of the “special edition” Horde, but voice work isn’t cheap, and on bygone content… Wasn’t going to happen.
I’m also pretty sure not all Zandalari trolls are Directly connected to the Zandalari Empire in certain circumstances.
