Pandaria Grand Master Pet Tamer Bug, Possibly Others?

Just did the pandaren spirit battles for today. I use PetTracker to keep tabs on enemy cooldowns and noticed my team was getting slaughtered unexpectedly because my ability cooldowns weren’t lining up with theirs.

I fled the battle and reset a few times to see what was happening. For example against the burning pandaren spirit, which has conflagrate on a 4 round cooldown, I use Anubisath Idol with a 3 round cooldown on deflection. It should be available for every conflag cast.

I noticed that when it got down to cooldown 2 rounds on conflag, the battle would suddenly fast forward (a bunch of spells and actions occurred in quick succession) and my idol would take a big hit and conflag would be on cooldown again (4 rounds).

From looking at the combat log, I could see two rounds of combat passed within 1 second with nothing happening between either my side or enemy side except for the immolate dot followed by a conflag. Something very similar happened with the whispering pandaren spirit tamer battle.

Something is very broken.

I just had the same problem against the Burning Pandaren Spirit. Conflagrate’s cooldown skipped from 2 to reset leaving me unable to use Deflection. I died several times in a row with the same issue each time. I very rarely die in this fight, not to mention several times in a row. This really needs to be fixed. Please help!

Patch 9.1 managed to break these pet battles and possibly others in a spectacular way.

I noticed same issues with Pandaren fire spirit, whispering wind spirit, Farmer Nishi and Mo’ruk. The cooldowns for some pets reset is bugged making it impossible to defeat the pet. That’s a shame considering pet battle event occurs just every 6 weeks or so.
