the real question is what xpac are they going to stop at. MoP cant be considered classic since thats when they removed talent trees and swapped to the 3 choice talent system among other things. it really should have ended with wrath and then just had vanilla burning crusade and wrath servers going at the same time
plus cata players is pretty low as it is yet they keep pushing these classic servers forward splitting the playerbase more, i know people who didnt wanna go past BC or Wrath and are no longer playing classic because of it
I think Legion Remix would have more excitement about it tbh.
Mage Tower weapons would make a return.
MoP was good for gameplay, though. Just people were less pumped for the story at the time.
Casting chaos bolts while moving and 1 shotting people was peak warlock gameplay for me lol

Legion or BfA probably. Considering by the time we even get to Legion we’d be at least 2 years away, and BfA will be 8 years old at that point. Going onto 9 by the time it’d be a classic realm.
They’re padding this stuff out for money. No reason to stop printing money if they can keep going forward to a new expansion that people will pre-order cosmetics / pay for subs to play on.
