so with exiles reach happening, and supposedly everyone is going to be starting there. whats gonna happen with pandaren, and goblins as well now that I think about it? are you still going to have the option of their custom starting zones?
Only new players have to use exiles reach.

Allied races DO NOT get the new starter zone. They get screwed out of it. Same with DH and DK?

Gob zone is still there (at least in PTR). Offers you the choice.
Really wish I could go there more often.

When you make any race it asks if you want to do exiles reach, or their respective starting zone. If you are brand new it automatically puts you on exiles.

what they said. only players who do not have a level 50 toon and/or have not completed the BFA storyline will have to go through exiles reach. after that, they can chose to do ER again or the starting zone of their chosen race.
Kezan really lacks the love it deserves. It’s basically just super cheap how Blizzard just wrote it off completely with the gobbo starting area.

Everyone will be able to pick. But your post brings me another question: currently when you do a pandaren you have to pick factions inside the game (unless you make a DK, in which case you pick on while costumizing), but if you make a panda and start in exile’s reach (which currently you decide after costomuzation), you must already have a faction; when do you pick your faction in that case?
Character creation. Pandaren are just on both sides of the screen.

I just did some restarting of a new goblin and it really is nice.
Don’t even get me started on how they pushed the goblins out of org too.
New players are forced into Exiles Reach because the zone serves as a broader gameplay tutorial.
Teaching Hunters how to tame pets, how the game works, etc. The end of it is a tutorial on how to do dungeons and use group finder.
We need a reverse cataclysm that brings the islands back and actually use it as an actual game area.
Pretty sure the choice is all made through the character creation now, instead of one Pandaren option I believe there is one per faction.
Could be wrong since it’s been a long time since I actually made one, but that is how it is set out on the character select.

okay, thats good to know. cuz i’d always intended to make a pandaren “at some point” at the starting area looked really fun, but just never got around to it… why yes I am practicing for the procrastination world olympics, why do you ask?
For new worgen and goblin alts, are you still stuck in the starting zone until you have done every quest? And for worgens in particular, does it look like they fixed the starting zone, or is it still totally borked as it is on live?
